APPEAL FROM THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE CENTRAL DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA

HONORABLE ROBERT M. TAKASUGI Senior United States District Judge

Joinder of Defendant-Appellee Hassan Rezaie

Yolanda Barrera, Attorney at Law, 511 South First Avenue # 340, Arcadia, CA 91006, Telephone: (626) 574-1053, Facsimile: (626) 574-9043, Attorney for Defendant-Appellee, Hassan Rezaie

*1 I.

JOINDER

Defendant-Appellee Hassan Rezaie joins the arguments presented in the appellee brief filed by co-defendant, Roya Rahmani.

In addition, Mr. Rezaie submits that the arguments regarding standing to challenge the constitutionality of the statutory provision, and the constitutional arguments, including the due process arguments, are particularly compelling in this case since several of the defendants, including him, are citizens of the United States of America. Mr. Rezaie's citizenship predated the Secretary's designation of the PMOI as a foreign terrorist organization.

*2 II.

CONCLUSION

For the reasons set forth in Ms. Rahmani brief and herein, Mr. Rezaie respectfully requests that this Court affirm the district court's dismissal of the indictment against Mr. Rezaie.
